Taiwan market: Panasonic to roll out 1080p 37-inch LCD TV

Taiwan market: Panasonic to roll out 1080p 37-inch LCD TV

Panasonic Taiwan will soon launch a 1080p 37-inch LCD TV in Taiwan at price tag of less than NT$60,000 (NT$1,829), according to today's Economic Daily News (EDN). The model will be the first full high-definition (HD) LCD TV introduced by Panasonic Taiwan in the local market, said the paper.

Panasonic Taiwan will push LCD TVs for the 37-inch-and-smaller segment, but for the 42-inch-and-larger TV market, PDP (plasma display panel) TV will be its focus, said the paper.

Wow. It's amazing how much power they can pack into such a thin plasma television. The only question I have is.."Does it get any bigger and powerful than this?"Panasonic Taiwan began offering a 37-inch PDP TV model locally in mid-2006 at NT$59,900, according to the company. Panasonic Taiwan started assembling PDP TVs in Taiwan at the end of 2005 to offer a more aggressive pricing.

6th Generation Ipod

6th Generation Ipod

For all of you who got an ipod video for christmas a new one in the making! Apple really likes to stay ahead of things and this proves it. The first image I have is the actual patent request that apple submitted.

Even though this is only the first patent request, i must say i am impressed and awaiting the arrival of the new ipod. The ipod now already has the design and GB capacity i need. What more can i ask for? Steve Jobs plans to answer that question soon with the San Fransisco Expo on April 1st showcasing how this new ipod will "change" the world of music and MP3.

Expo reaction: iDisappointed

First, let me say this. The iPhone looks incredible. It’s a definite paradigm shift in the world of phones, PDAs, and iPods. I want one, even if I never use the phone portion of the device. Same with Apple TV—I’ve actually ordered one for our home, as it will meet our needs perfectly. My gut reaction is that Apple has hit a huge home run with the iPhone.

First off, the phone looks so slick in design and has features beyond every other phone. I though to myself, it looks good, but does it work good? The article here demonstrates why the iPhone is so disappointing and people questioning its surface without further careful inspection.
